How to choose a fragrance you will love
Fragrance changes on your skin over hours. Here is how to test it properly before you decide.

Choosing a fragrance is personal. A few simple habits make it much easier.
Understand the notes
Most fragrances are described in three layers. Top notes are what you smell first, heart notes appear after a few minutes, and base notes are what lingers for hours.
Test on skin, not paper
A scent can smell very different on your skin. Spray once on your wrist and live with it for a few hours before deciding.
Do not over-test
After three or four fragrances your nose gets tired. Take a break, or smell something neutral, before trying more.
Think about when you will wear it
Fresh citrus and light florals are easy everyday choices. Warmer notes like oud, amber and vanilla feel lovely for evenings and special occasions.
